Mariana (“Mari”) Kordorsky is a New Haven–based writer and photojournalist. Born in Guatemala and raised in Connecticut, her work explores the intersection of politics, culture, and everyday life through both writing and visual storytelling.
She currently works at Yale University, facilitating global executive education initiatives that foster international collaboration. Her professional and creative work has taken her across Europe and the Eastern Mediterranean, where she documents public life through street photography and narrative research. She is particularly interested in how political forces shape lived experience and collective memory, and enjoys interviewing people whose lives reflect this.
Outside of her professional work, she enjoys running, yoga, and volunteering in youth literacy programs within the local community.
She welcomes collaborations and can be contacted for editorial, research, or creative projects.
